This is the 17-inch version of my handcrafted wood American flag — built the exact same way as the 3-footer, just sized to sit on a shelf, a desk, a mantel, or a bookcase, or to hang where a full-size flag would be too much. Every stripe is individually cut from solid pine and hand-stained, the stars are stenciled, and the whole thing is torch-finished and sealed by hand. It's the opposite of a mass-produced, printed trinket — a real wood flag, small enough to sit anywhere and solid enough to keep for decades. A favorite for desks, offices, and folks who want the craftsmanship without the wall space.
